To place new buildings, go to the "Form" topic within the design step. Select "New Buildings," then enter edit mode and click the "Add Buildings" button on the left-side card. When no new buildings are placed you will automatically enter edit mode upon navigating to the Form topic.
In the building placement section, you have two options:
- Automatically add buildings based on maximal land usage (Max Use).
- Manually draw their footprints.
When adding buildings based on Max Use:
- Choose the types of buildings to add.
- Specify the roof types.
- Determine the number of buildings to place.
- Optionally, set fixed dimensions if needed.
When adding buildings with Freeform footprints:
- Switch to the Freeform tab.
- Use the drawing tools, similar to those for drawing lines and polygons, to create the footprint. Ensure the polygon is closed to complete the footprint.
- Select the building type for the footprint you've drawn.
- Click "Add Building" to finalize and place the building.
