Helplines and polygons can help you create more precise projects in Amenti. To draw them, click on the "Lines and Polygons" icon located at the top right corner of the 2D map in the Location or Law step.
You will now enter the edit mode for lines and polygons. Below, you will see a set of tools for drawing shapes, as well as buttons for canceling or saving your actions. It is important to either save or cancel your actions and exit the edit mode to continue with the project. You can learn more about the edit mode here.
When you draw an object, it will appear on the right side as a card. You can view its dimensions while the card is closed. Once the card is opened, you can change the object type or delete the object. This logic applies to all objects in this topic.
Line tool - Draw new helplines.
Polygon - Draw free-range polygons to mark different areas.
Polygon 90 Angle - Draw polygons with fixed 90-degree angles to mark different areas.
Offset - Creates offsets of already drawn shapes on the map.
Fill Area - Generates new polygons based on existing shapes on the map.
Snap - Snaps to other lines and objects when drawing.
Extend Line - Extends existing lines on the 2D map.
Measuring Tape - Measures the dimensions of objects on the 2D map.
Disable Existing Buildings - Disables existing buildings to allow interaction with more complex objects already placed on the plot.
