In the 3D view, you can adjust various settings to modify the appearance of your 3D model and save views to revisit or use in your reports
From the top right corner of the 3D view, you can:
- Switch between the 2D and 3D
- Access different camera modes based on the topic or objects selected,
- Choose the map type between roadmap, satellite, cadaster
- Toggle the terrain size from 200m and 500m
- Open all of the 3D controls
Within the 3D controls, you can toggle on and off various 3D layers, activate the solar exposure, adjust shadows based on different dates and times, use terrain offset, display grid, use the clipping feature and finally save all your step, topic and 3D settings into a scene to revisit or use in the reports.
With the compass in the bottom of the right side of the screen you can access fixed camera positions at all times in 3D.
At the bottom of the 3D Controls you can find the scene presets feature. This tool allows you to save any of your views including the step, topic and all 3d controls. Press the save scene button to create a new scene whenever needed. Load the saved scene by clicking on it. From the three dots you can rename the created scene, use it in your reports, overwrite them or delete them. In total 8 scenes can be saved to a project.
